Every abused and neglected child in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Counties deserves a safe, permanent, and nurturing home. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Vicinage XV ensures that a court-empowered, independent volunteer is able to voice timely and objective information on behalf of the child. Our ONLY interest is the child’s best interest. CASA is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers, individual and corportate support to assist these children in need. CASA ensures that these children, who are victims of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, or outright abandonment, have a voice in Court proceedings that determine their fate. There are nearly 11,000 abused and neglected children in New Jersey living in out-of-home placements (foster care).
Nearly 1,000 of these children are from Cumberland, Gloucester & Salem Counties!
Hot off the Press! Services to children in need expanding into Gloucester County soon! Stay Tuned!
